hello, i have read the artical of the deverstating news of the toxic pollution' in kabwe! my family and i lived there, from 1966-80's, dad was the chief surveyor of zambia, mum was a teacher. My concern is, we have two member's with kidney disease,another member was on dialyis for many years. my twin sister, has chronic-kidney disease, it was discovered in 1987.. found in pregnancy.which lead to her doctor's being totally baffled! [results]i would be very pleased if someone could please reasure me that our time in kabwe, is not the result of the renal failure, in our family.. list of diseases would be helpfull. as i am convinced there could possibly be a link here? thankyou for your time and patience, as we still have wonderfull memories of our time in kabwe..
